About our Speaker/Conversation Leader

Ragu Bhargava is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Global Upside. Ragu oversees the corporate direction and strategy for Global Upside with a strong focus on increasing our global footprint and making our Clients successful – no matter where they do business. His mantra: “Impossible is not in my vocabulary”.
Through a relentless focus on client services, innovation and market expansion, Ragu has taken the company– once known primarily for its accounting expertise to being a leader in full-suite International Expansion, Finance, Payroll, HR and Staffing services. Global Upside now support clients in 90+ countries and serves both fast-growth startups and Fortune 500 brands.
Prior to joining Global Upside, Ragu was the Chief Financial Officer at ActivIdentity (NASDAQ:ACTI). He has held leadership positions in several companies including Deloitte and NetIQ (NASDAQ: NTIQ), where he played a key role in helping the company grow from $20 million to over $300 million in revenue.
Ragu is on the Board of City Year San Jose/Silicon Valley, an education-focused nonprofit organization helping students stay in school. He also supports the student scholarship program run by the Financial Executives International, Silicon Valley Chapter (FEISV).
A Certified Public Accountant, Ragu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Alaska at Anchorage, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the University of Rajasthan, India
